Fair Share
Description of Fair Share:
The school district provides our program with many forms of support including money for instruments, music and certified or classified staff. however, this is an insufficient sum. Each student is required to pay a "Fair Share" (Lab Fee) to help defray the costs to our program for items such as: school owned instruments, recording equipment, music, festival participation fees, uniform maintenance/dry cleaning, web client database system, updated music technology, specialist staff, guest artists/composers/conductors and many other vital components to our program. For all new members to the program it will include the purchase of concert attire and marching shoes. The Fair Share has been developed to abolish numerous charges for many different items. No student will be turned away due to inability to pay. Booster Scholarships and Payment arrangements are available for the asking.
