Fair Share
Description of Fair Share:
The school district provides our program with many forms of support including money for instruments, music and certified or classified staff. however, this is an insufficient sum. Each student is required to pay a "Fair Share" (Lab Fee) to help defray the costs to our program for items such as: school owned instruments, recording equipment, music, festival participation fees, uniform maintenance/dry cleaning, web client database system, updated music technology, specialist staff, guest artists/composers/conductors and many other vital components to our program. For all new members to the program it will include the purchase of concert attire and marching shoes. The Fair Share has been developed to abolish numerous charges for many different items.

CBC PayPal Option
The bands will be traveling to Pasco, WA to participate in the CBC Jazz Unlimited Band Festival. The CBC Jazz Unlimited Band Festival involves around 4,500 student performers from groups all around the Northwest, including other high school concert and jazz bands from Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Our performances will take place on Friday, April 13th and Saturday April 14th with clinics to follow with the festival adjudicators. The cost for these trips is $105 per student and that includes travel expenses, hotel cost, and a continental breakfast.
Windfest
The Wind Ensemble will be traveling to Ellensburg to participate in the CWU Wind Ensemble Invitational Festival. Our performance will take place on Thursday, March 1st at 4:30pm with a clinic to follow with the festival adjudicators. Additionally, the band will be rehearsing on Wednesday evening when we arrive in Ellensburg. The band will also be traveling to Columbia Basin College to perform in the Jazz Unlimited Concert and Jazz Band festival on April 13th. The cost for these trips is $210 per student and that includes travel expenses, hotel cost, and a continental breakfast for both trips.
