About the Leadership Program

In addition to comprehensive instrumental music offerings, the Mountain View Band program has created an extensive, multi-facetted leadership curriculum. Since its inception in 2008, the Mountain View Band Leadership Crew has become a prominent fixture in Mountain View Band. The Mountain View Band Leadership Crew is comprised of 47 total members consisting of 28 leadership members, 16 section leaders and 3 drum majors dedicated to the development of the interpersonal, musical and organizational skills of its students.  The responsibilities of each position within the leadership crew vary regarding objectives, goals, skill sets and time commitments.
